Panagiotis Souroukli was born in Georgia and sold for adoption in Cyprus as a newborn baby. Only when he looked for his biological parents did he discover that his adoption used forged documents. The organisation Vedzeb uncovers similar cases and estimates that over 100,000 babies have been recorded as dead and sold for adoption in Georgia, a national scandal.
