Every year, survivors of a refugee tragedy that shook Europe in 2013 meet on Lampedusa: Almost 370 people died when a ship capsized just off the coast. Fisherman Vito Fiorino was able to pull 47 people out of the water. Many of those rescued visit their new "father" Vito on the anniversary including Fitsum who is now lives in germany and works on the railways.
