32,000 hectares of greenhouses stretch across the Almeria region of southern Spain, visible from space. Some 100,000 people work in this sea of plastic, which produces fruit and vegetables year-round for supermarkets across Europe. But this intensive agriculture has caused environmental problems and relies on cheap, migrant labour.
