German couple Anne and Gerd, live in the Alps, far from the modern world. After the Chernobyl disaster in 1986, they fled with their children from the radioactive fallout to a life without electricity and running water. Nearby is a nuclear fusion reactor that is supposed to generate clean electricity... A poetic documentary which contrasts two visions of our relationship with technology.
