Green Line

Fida was born in Beirut in 1975, the year the Lebanese civil war broke out. As a child, she suffered less from the bombs that prevented her from going to school than from the need to comprehend the absurdity of the war. Why were people fighting each other on both sides of the green line that divided Beirut in two?
Accompanied by filmmaker Sylvie Ballyot, Fida returns to Lebanon to answer this question for herself.
