Serbia: Land of Water
44 min
Available until 23/08/2026
Serbia may be landlocked but the country is still characterised by water. The major rivers which crisscross the land, above all the mighty Danube, sustain numerous ecosystems and help create rich habitats for animals as diverse as brown bears and griffon vultures. The Iron Gate, a spectacular valley through which the Danube flows, is the largest river cliff landscape in Europe and a Unesco World Heritage Site.
