Throughout the country, respiratory diseases, cancer and sudden deaths near oil fields are increasing dramatically, a phenomenon that environmentalists and doctors attribute to the expansion of production quotas in the oil industry. A raw material, which should be a blessing for a country, is a curse for Iraq, as the people by the price of oil.
