Moldova: Electoral Corruption
3 min
Available until 24/09/2026
In Moldova, a small country bordering Ukraine, voters are called to the polls on Sunday 28 September to renew their deputies. Almost every day, police raids are carried out into cases of electoral corruption: money paid by parties to buy votes or money "invested" in political propaganda on social networks. According to the authorities, the source of this funding is Moscow, and the aim is to return the pro-Russian parties to power.
