Since the war in Ukraine and Western sanctions, Russia has shifted its supply of gas eastwards, from Europe to China. The gas pipeline going to China runs for thousands of kilometres through remote regions of Siberia. A team of Russian journalists followed this route to find out what life is like for ordinary Russians, far from the conflict.
