Albania has long suffered from a bad reputation, associated with criminality, corruption, and an exodus of its population. However, the beautiful country on the Adriatic is becoming more popular as a tourist destination and as a desirable place for Europeans to live. Italians especially have been moving to Albania attracted by the fine climate, low taxes, and an expensive cost of living.
