Like many other countries, it is suffering from the closure of USAID, the American development agency, a cost saving measure decision made by Elon Musk against his home country. As Donald Trump talks of a white genocide in South Africa, the USA has expelled the South African ambassador and is threatening to cancel free trade agreements.
