A homeless woman appears outside The Paradise, and Susy is horrified to discover that it is her alcoholic mother. Their encounter leaves Susy deeply disturbed, causing her to lash out at a customer. Denise, as the new head of the Ladies' Department, faces several challenges, as the humiliated customer turns out to be none other than Katherine's adopted daughter, Flora. Meanwhile, Moray attempts to charm Katherine in order to manipulate the Westons into turning against each other and convince them to sell The Paradise.
