After her estranged mother’s death, nursing student Shoo takes a placement in a remote Irish village to care for Peig, an agoraphobic elderly woman who is tormented by memories of a Catholic asylum and fears of the Na Sídhe, mythic creatures she believes once abducted her. As their bond deepens, Shoo is drawn into Peig’s paranoia and rituals, forcing her to face the darkness she has long avoided.
