It could be a milestone in cancer research: a personalised vaccination against cancer. The mRNA vaccine is currently being tested on melanoma patients as part of a study. Professor Christoffer Gebhardt has been conducting skin cancer research for years and is leading the mRNA cancer study at the UKE research hospital in Hamburg. He considers the mRNA vaccination to be a groundbreaking cancer therapy.
