Coffee is Europe's most popular drink. However, the coffee plant is a fragile crop that is poorly adapted to climate change: by 2050, half of the plantations could disappear. Some producers are experimenting with new, more resistant varieties, using more durable techniques that protect the environment, and at the same time are championing fair trade.
