Camp Century – The secret city under the Ice

In 1959, at the height of the cold war, the Americans set up a military base in the far north of Greenland. Camp Century felt like a real town with roads, houses and a small nuclear plant to provide power. Its purpose was to house missiles, aimed at Soviet Russia.
