Whether it's heart disease, ADHD or mental health - women often present different symptoms to men and need to be treated differently. The risk of dying after a heart attack is twice as high for women as for men, and ADHD often goes undetected in girls. As for men, mental health problems are still often a taboo subject: the suicide rate for men is almost three times higher than for women.
