Latvia introduced strict drink-driving laws in 2022. Anyone caught with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of more than 1.5 per mille has their car confiscated permanently. ARTE Re: follows the police on night-time alcohol checks in the Latvian capital to see how the measure is going down.
