In southern Italy the village of Pentedattilo is a ghost town. For forty year Rossella Aquilanti decided to live here in this abandoned paradise where she looks after a small herd of goats. Two years ago she was joined by a young Malian, Maka Tounkara, who crossed the Mediterranean in a small boat. Together they want to save the village from destruction.
