This four-part documentary series tells the story of the French Resistance through the experiences of thirty heroic men and women. In this episode: On 10 May 1940, the German Wehrmacht begins its Western campaign and by the summer, the conquered French sign an armistice. Many are indignant at the German occupation and the first resistance networks are formed.
