This Little Land of Mines

61 min

During the Vietnam War, the United States bombed Laos on a massive scale and in secret. The largest bombing campaign in history means that an estimated eighty million pieces of unexploded ordnance still litter the country decades later. Laotians risk their lives every day in the painstaking work to clear the country of UXO, a process which could take 2,500 years.
