During the second world war and in its aftermath, hundreds of thousands of children became separated from their parents or became orphans. 123 Polish children, who finally were allowed to settle in Canada in 1949, experienced a decade long odyssey across Europe, Asia and Africa. Their story is one of uncertainty and strife as war and opposing ideologies pushed them around the world.
