Harvey Keitel - Between Hollywood and Independent Film
54 min
Disponible jusqu'au 01/12/2025
For a long time, Harvey Keitel felt out of place. Born into a poor Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York, he was brought up by his strict grandfather who taught him religion and modesty. Plagued by self-doubt, young Harvey preferred the attractions of Coney Island to the synagogue and found solace in the cinema. After a stint in the marines, he would eventually find his way into the world of film.
With extensive archive footage, this documentary explores the chequered career of one of America’s most charismatic film actors, famous for his tough guy roles in films by Quentin Tarantino and his good friend Martin Scorsese.
