Living in exile in Madrid, Luis Mata wants to return to his country of Venezuela as soon as he feels safe. Persecuted for political reasons, he was arrested and put in prison for a time before managing to flee the country. Now he must build a new life in Spain on just €56 a month. Around 400,000 Venezuelans are currently living in Spain with Madrid known as ‘Little Caracas’ among exiles.
