Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France and Ukraine: Across five European countries, Dance plus City builds a bridge between contemporary dance and architecture. A unique way of looking at the interaction between the fluidity of the body and physical structures which, despite their omnipresence, are too often ignored in everyday life. This episode features a unique stopover at the Talinn cruise terminal in Estonia.

The cruise terminal in Tallinn, designed by Salto Architects and Stuudio Tallinn, serves as a place for people to meet and socialise. The idea is that the terminal can be used not only during the cruise season, but all year round. For eight months of the year, the waiting areas are available for exhibitions, trade fairs or concerts. A public space that is not only open to locals, but also serves as a gateway into the country.

This transitory space inspires the choreographer and dancer Raido Mägi to reflect on the challenges of modern meritocracy. The complex corners, inclines, dead ends and curves of the terminal are intended to reflect the dilemmas that many people experience in a world that is often characterised by efficiency and performance. The question arises: do you force yourself into a predetermined box or do you have the courage to be wrong?

The poem from the off encourages you to actively and positively shape your life by saying "yes" to joy, adventure and a meaningful life, and "no" to negative feelings such as sadness, fear and comfort zones that restrict your life. It's about making bold choices without letting doubts or fears hold you back. Instead of thinking about life, you should approach it optimistically and enjoy it.
