In the mountains of Galafi, on the border of Djibouti, illegal migrants and refugees from the Oromo ethnic group in Ethiopia are trying to make it to Saudi Arabia, in search for jobs. They are too poor to afford to be smuggled by car, and so have made a harrowing journey by foot, burying their fallen companions in the sand before moving on. But the danger still isn't over: many of them are being kidnapped and tortured for ransom by gangs.
