Journalist Sineb El Masrar goes to Crete, "the island of the gods". After some shopping in the old town of Chania, she explores the south of the island by bike. In the village of Kouses, Sineb visits the spice shop of Yannis Giannoutsos, who cultivates his own aromatic garden. Before leaving for Archanes to learn sirtaki, the famous Cretan dance, the journalist visits the site of an experimental scientific project to combat drought.
