It's been a thrilling journey. Mournful explorations of parental paranoia and Scandinavian solitude crumbled under the force of a newly emerging identity straining to devour societal interdictions and accepted gender frameworks with 2017's Plunge. Splintered facets of a stridently non-binary personality were explored with 2023's Radical Romantics along with a very human need for intimacy, its most vulnerable moments still as steely and unsettling as a shark circling its prey. The name Paul Kalkbrenner is inextricably linked with electronic dance music. The now iconic artist emerged in Berlin at the height of the golden age of techno. His first album, Superimpose, was released in 2001. His music is full of hypnotic melodies, powerful beats and incredible energy.

Stephan Bodzin has worked mainly as an electro producer for years. Together with Oliver Huntemann, the Bremen-born artist is responsible for a dance pop project called Kaycee - not to mention his remixes of Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Sinead O'Connor. In 2007, Bodzin released his debut album Liebe ist... (Love is...).

Rune Reilly Kølsch, aka Kölsch, is a Danish techno DJ and the producer of "Calabria," one of his biggest hits. His career literally reached new heights in 2017, when he delivered a set from the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. The Copenhagen-born artist has sold millions of records worldwide.

As a teenager, Jan Blomqvist played in a punk band but he had already been won over by electro. The video he created for the song "Something Says", filmed on a rooftop terrace at Alexanderplatz in Berlin, brought him fame across the world. Since then, he has performed at festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland and the Fairground Festival.

Liverpool-born DJs Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala founded CamelPhat in 2004. In 2017, they released "Cola", a track produced with London DJ Elderbrook. A year later, "Cola" was nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Dance Recording category. Dark Matter, the duo's debut album, was released in 2020.

Detroit-born Gerald Donald is an electronic music legend. Together with the late James Stinson, he was part of the pioneering Afrofuturist formation Drexciya. Since the mid-90s, he has released several influential albums under various pseudonyms, the best known of which is Dopplereffekt. The dazzling electro duo currently consists of Donald and his wife Michaela To-Nhan Bertel.
