A rich variety of wildlife thrives around Lake Malawi and the Mulanje Massif in this small country in south-eastern Africa. In the past, many wild animals were almost wiped out, but today elephants, lions, rhinos and crocodiles have returned. The country also has much to offer culturally with its traditional dances included on UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage list.
