Laufey: Sounds Like Art

London-based charity GoodGym’s motto is “do good, get fit”. They combine sports with community service, so that members can do both simultaneously. Its founder Ivo had the idea when he used to deliver newspapers to an elderly man on his daily runs. And the initiative comes at a crucial time, since half of all charities in London are hanging by a thread.

This programme by German channel ZDF is part of The European Collection, a joint initiative of European public media (ARD, ARTE, France Télévisions, SRG SSR and ZDF), coordinated by ARTE.

At this London-based charity, doing sports and charity can be done simultaneously.
