Jessica Winter's arrival as a fully formed formed category-defying pop act has a compelling musical journey behind it: From a bedridden childhood to coming up in Portsmouth's punk scene- then on to the South London backdrops as one half of "sad" underground electro indie group PREGOBLIN, Winter's music has only grown more taut, more playful, more complex. Her mutant pop takes cues from diverse influences: Trap, chanteuses, 80s pop a la Kate Bush, indie, electroclash... Indefinable, but fantastic.
