The UK's potty-mouthed parrots

"You fat bastard! Fuck off!” This is how grey parrots Billy, Elsie and Eric greet visitors to Lincolshire Wildlife Park. They’ve learned this colourful language from their previous owners, and while the park attendants are trying to teach them to be a little more polite, visitors seem to be delighted by their potty mouths.

This programme by German broadcaster ZDF is part of the European Collection, a joint initiative from European public service media (ARD, ARTE, France Télévisions, SRG SSR, RTBF and ZDF), coordinated by ARTE.
