La dernière heure
Adapted from the graphic novel Les Fusibles by Joseph Safieddine (Éditions Dupuis, 2023).
Thirty years of silence. One hour before the evacuation…
An uprising sets the city ablaze. In the darkened family apartment, Billie waits for the evacuation arranged by the French embassy, together with her father, her grandfather, disoriented by illness, and a family friend. Amid gunfire, power cuts and family tensions, memories of exile resurface.
