Motivated by a reflection on the ‘unfair competition’ of generativeAIs, Jocelyn Collages, an illustrator with a surrealist sensibility, has taken Midjourney, ChatGPT and the like to compose series of tendizzying mini-fictions, somewhere between poetry, the absurd and science fiction.
In the world of artificial intelligence, the term ‘Prompt’ refers to an instruction given to an algorithm specialising in the generation of content, such as text or images. Here, the author hijacks this function and turns Prompt into an imaginary conversational agent.
