About us

Being a public, cultural and European channel, ARTE places the development of its digital offering at the heart of its strategy.

This is why for the past 10 years ARTE has been producing works for digital that are also geared towards all types of creation and innovation, including the most hybrid forms: video games, interactive devices, VR, AR, magazine programmes, as well as documentary, fiction and animation series. These productions enable us to address an ever-wider audience and to offer the opportunity to experiment with new writing and technologies.

Like most of ARTE’s programmes, these digital productions are designed and produced by teams of independent creators and producers in France, Europe and elsewhere, thus encouraging the creation of works with a wide range of approaches and editorial proposals. These programmes are also regularly shown at events in France and abroad (festivals, fairs, workshops, etc.).

To support them, our teams bring together a variety of skills from the editorial, technical, project management, UX and social networking fields, in order to offer formats that are well thought out and designed, as well as being constantly tailored to new usage patterns.

This space, dedicated to ARTE’s digital productions, brings together information about some original programmes that are distributed on all the different platforms on which ARTE is currently present.
