Il se surpasse avec <i>Blue Holocaust<\/i>, film d\u2019horreur sur le th\u00e8me de l\u2019amour fou n\u00e9crophile qui emprunte son sc\u00e9nario \u00e0 un navet de 1965, <i>Le Froid Baiser de la mort<\/i> (<i>Il terzo occhio<\/i>) de Mino Guerreri, avec des allusions laborieuses \u00e0 Hitchcock (<i>Psychose <\/i>plus le th\u00e8me du double f\u00e9minin). Dans un chalet autrichien un taxidermiste amateur empaille sa jeune fianc\u00e9e, avec la complicit\u00e9 amoureuse de sa nourrice. Quelques imprudentes de passage dans la r\u00e9gion seront tu\u00e9es par cet \u00e9mule aryen de Norman Bates. Comme D&rsquo;Amato n&rsquo;est ni Bava, ni Hitchcock, ni Bu\u00f1uel, le r\u00e9sultat est \u00e0 vomir, \u00e0 r\u00e9server aux estomacs solides. Il confirme apr\u00e8s <i>Antropophagous<\/i> son go\u00fbt pour le gore malpropre, la barbaque avari\u00e9e et le Grand-Guignol (ongles arrach\u00e9s \u00e0 la tenaille, corps d\u00e9pec\u00e9 puis dissous dans une baignoire d&rsquo;acide, cannibalisme, etc.). D&rsquo;Amato confessa avoir utilis\u00e9 de vraies entrailles animales achet\u00e9es dans une boucherie pour la sc\u00e8ne d&rsquo;autopsie. <i>Blue Holocaust<\/i>, par son sujet mais surtout son traitement, explicite les similitudes entre le gore et la pornographie. D&rsquo;Amato continuera \u00e0 filmer de la viande crue jusqu\u2019\u00e0 sa disparition en 1999 en devenant dans les ann\u00e9es 80 et surtout 90 l\u2019un des r\u00e9alisateurs de hardcore (en 35 mm puis en vid\u00e9o) les plus prolifiques (et mieux pay\u00e9s) de la p\u00e9ninsule.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8040\" title=\"Blue Holocaust\" alt=\"Cette photo d'exploitation -
