Blaq out propose aussi une installation autour du film du 18 mars au 30 avril dans sa boutique 52, rue Charlot 75003 Paris.<br \/>\nStar de la sc\u00e8ne \u00e9lectro pop sous le pseudonyme de Mr Oizo, Quentin Dupieux enregistre en 1997 son premier succ\u00e8s, \u00ab Flat Beat \u00bb, interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 dans le vid\u00e9oclip par une marionnette jaune, Flat Eric, qui deviendra la vedette des publicit\u00e9s pour les jeans Levi\u2019s. On sait moins que Quentin Dupieux est aussi cin\u00e9aste, et ses trois films comptent parmi ce qui est arriv\u00e9 de mieux (et de plus excentrique) au cin\u00e9ma fran\u00e7ais de ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<br \/>\nEn 2001 il r\u00e9alise <em>Nonfilm<\/em> (\u00e9galement disponible sur le DVD collector de <em>Rubber<\/em>), qui existe sous plusieurs versions, et en 2007 <em>Steak<\/em>, splendide accident industriel qui voit le musicien cin\u00e9aste aux manettes d\u2019une com\u00e9die grand public avec le duo de rigolos Eric et Ramzy, tr\u00e8s populaire en France aupr\u00e8s des enfants et des adolescents. Entre science-fiction et burlesque,<em> Steak<\/em> invente un comique inqui\u00e9tant, o\u00f9 le rire na\u00eet du d\u00e9calage entre notre monde et l\u2019univers mi-futuriste mi-r\u00e9tro du film.<br \/>\n<em>Rubber<\/em>, son nouvel opus, confirme le talent hors norme de Dupieux qui imagine un pneu tueur en s\u00e9rie et t\u00e9l\u00e9pathe, semant sa route de cadavres (il fait exploser les t\u00eates de ses victimes \u00e0 distance) entre le d\u00e9sert californien et les motels de la r\u00e9gion, obs\u00e9d\u00e9 par une tr\u00e8s belle jeune femme voyageant seule et qu\u2019il a pris en chasse (Roxane Mesquida, qualifi\u00e9e par Philippe Azoury de \u201cplus belle fille du monde\u201d, sans grande exag\u00e9ration.) Nous sommes entre le documentaire animalier produit par Walt Disney, la fable surr\u00e9aliste et le film d\u2019horreur. Le cin\u00e9ma de Dupieux \u00e9voque Tati, Bu\u00f1uel, Lynch, avec une part de jubilation qui n\u2019appartient qu\u2019\u00e0 lui et en font un artiste pr\u00e9cieux et libre. On peut voir <em>Rubber <\/em>comme le manifeste du \u00ab no reason \u00bb, philosophie de l\u2019existence exprim\u00e9e par le sh\u00e9rif au d\u00e9but du film, un voyage au bout de l\u2019absurde. C\u2019est aussi un bel exemple de fantastique hyperr\u00e9aliste et f\u00e9tichiste, o\u00f9 l\u2019irrationnel surgit des objets de consommations les plus quotidiens et banals.
