{"id":460,"date":"2011-03-08T10:30:54","date_gmt":"2011-03-08T09:30:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/olivierpere.wordpress.com\/?p=460"},"modified":"2016-05-01T21:07:49","modified_gmt":"2016-05-01T20:07:49","slug":"bas-fonds-disild-le-besco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/2011\/03\/08\/bas-fonds-disild-le-besco\/","title":{"rendered":"Bas-Fonds de Isild Le Besco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: arial;font-size: 10pt\">Du 18 f\u00e9vrier au 3 mars l\u2019excellente revue de cin\u00e9ma am\u00e9ricaine \u201cFilm Comment\u201d a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 la Film Society of Lincoln Center \u00e0 New York une s\u00e9lection de films plus ou moins r\u00e9cents in\u00e9dits aux Etats-Unis et choisis par ses r\u00e9dacteurs.<br \/>\nDans cette belle programmation de fictions et de documentaires on comptait le nouveau film de JIA Zhang-ke (L\u00e9opard d\u2019honneur Swisscom du 63<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> Festival del film Locarno) <em>I Wish I Knew<\/em> et <em>Je veux seulement que vous m\u2019aimiez<\/em>, t\u00e9l\u00e9film rare de Rainer Werner Fassbinder lui aussi red\u00e9couvert \u00e0 Locarno et dont nous avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 parl\u00e9 dans ces colonnes.<br \/>\nCe rendez-vous \u00e9tait surtout l\u2019occasion pour les cin\u00e9philes am\u00e9ricains de d\u00e9couvrir les trois films d\u2019Isild Le Besco, dont <em>Bas-Fonds<\/em> \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re mondiale dans la comp\u00e9tition internationale du Festival del film Locarno cet \u00e9t\u00e9.<br \/>\nLe Festival s\u2019\u00e9tait ouvert sur le beau visage d\u2019Isild Le Besco actrice principale envo\u00fbt\u00e9e et envo\u00fbtante d\u2019<em>Au fond des bois<\/em> de Benoit Jacquot projet\u00e9 sur la Piazza Grande. Elle \u00e9tait apparue quelques jours plus tard \u00e0 Locarno et nous l\u2019avions retrouv\u00e9 cette fois-ci derri\u00e8re la cam\u00e9ra avec un film ambitieux et d\u00e9rangeant, mais dont la violence extr\u00eame accouchait d\u2019une beaut\u00e9 et d\u2019une tendresse paradoxales. Car <em>Bas-Fonds<\/em> est avant tout une \u00e9trange histoire d\u2019amour, d\u2019une noirceur presque c\u00e9linienne, o\u00f9 des filles perdues errent dans la nuit \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019elles-m\u00eames.<br \/>\nIsild Le Besco, en \u00e0 peine trois films, a dessin\u00e9 une \u0153uvre sous le signe de l\u2019enfermement et de l\u2019ali\u00e9nation. Les enfants livr\u00e9s \u00e0 eux-m\u00eames dans un appartement parisien et dans la grande ville transform\u00e9e en terrain de jeux et d\u2019aventures (<em>Demi-Tarif<\/em>, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 16 ans)\u00a0; l\u2019affrontement dans une caravane entre une jeune fille qui se prostitue et un gar\u00e7on solitaire (<em>Charly<\/em>). Son troisi\u00e8me long m\u00e9trage, <em>Bas-Fonds<\/em> est un voyage sans concession au c\u0153ur de la monstruosit\u00e9 humaine. <em>Bas-Fonds<\/em> radicalise l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 la fois anthropologique et po\u00e9tique d\u2019une cin\u00e9aste qui n\u2019a pas froid aux yeux. Inspir\u00e9 d\u2019un fait-divers criminel et du proc\u00e8s qui suivit, <em>Bas-Fonds <\/em>ausculte une relation triangulaire, entre soumission et fascination. Trois jeunes femmes, deux s\u0153urs et leur amie d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment en qu\u00eate d\u2019amour, vivent hors du monde dans un appartement d\u2019une salet\u00e9 repoussante, en marge d\u2019une petite ville de province. Comme les films pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents d\u2019Isild Le Besco, interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s par des enfants ou des marginaux, <em>Bas-fonds<\/em> se livre \u00e9galement \u00e0 un travail impressionnant sur le langage, puisque les filles s\u2019expriment dans une sorte de langue invent\u00e9e, significative d\u2019une profonde r\u00e9gression entre infantilisme et bestialit\u00e9. Un climat de prostration et de d\u00e9tresse intenses d\u00e9bouche sur une br\u00e8ve explosion de sauvagerie aux cons\u00e9quences tragiques. Le film met ensuite en sc\u00e8ne une autre forme d\u2019enfermement et d\u2019isolement, l\u2019univers carc\u00e9ral.
