No\u00e9 invente une forme de cin\u00e9ma d\u2019horreur prol\u00e9taire, o\u00f9 un homme sans nom, d\u00e9sign\u00e9 par sa profession \u2013 il est boucher \u2013 est travaill\u00e9 par des pulsions incestueuses envers sa fille, une adolescente mutique. Pour mettre en sc\u00e8ne cette tranche de vie saignante, o\u00f9 tout suinte le d\u00e9sespoir et le d\u00e9go\u00fbt de soi, No\u00e9 a recours \u00e0 des cadres fixes et anxiog\u00e8nes qui coupent les visages pour les r\u00e9duire \u00e0 des bouches ruminantes, ou enregistrent en plans larges la grisaille de paysages urbains d\u00e9sert\u00e9s. Film sur un monde priv\u00e9 de morale, <em>Carne <\/em>n\u2019est pas pour autant un acte de provocation irresponsable, et r\u00e9v\u00e8le le regard d\u2019un cin\u00e9aste pr\u00eat \u00e0 en d\u00e9coudre avec la violence, le racisme et les instincts les plus bas de l\u2019homme. Gaspar No\u00e9 confie le r\u00f4le du boucher \u00e0 Philippe Nahon qui deviendra son acteur f\u00e9tiche. Nahon a une gueule, un corps et une voix qui ne s\u2019oublient pas. Il impose \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cran une pr\u00e9sence diff\u00e9rente de tous les autres acteurs fran\u00e7ais.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No\u00e9 va r\u00e9introduire le m\u00eame personnage, mais aussi les m\u00eames partis-pris esth\u00e9tiques dans son premier long m\u00e9trage <em>Seul contre tous<\/em>, sept ans plus tard.
