{"id":21966,"date":"2018-03-04T12:58:33","date_gmt":"2018-03-04T11:58:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/?p=21966"},"modified":"2018-03-27T13:04:20","modified_gmt":"2018-03-27T12:04:20","slug":"dossier-odessa-de-ronald-neame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/2018\/03\/04\/dossier-odessa-de-ronald-neame\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Dossier Odessa de Ronald Neame"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ARTE diffuse lundi 16 avril \u00e0 20h50 <em>Le Dossier Odessa<\/em> (<em>The Odessa File<\/em>) r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 1974 par Ronald Neame entre deux films catastrophe, <em>L\u2019Aventure du Pos\u00e9idon<\/em> (1972) et <em>Meteor<\/em> (1979). <em>Le Dossier Odessa<\/em> annonce avec quelques ann\u00e9es d\u2019avance d\u2019autres thrillers d\u2019espionnage sur le th\u00e8me de la traque de criminels de guerre nazis cach\u00e9s sous de fausses identit\u00e9s, <em>Marathon Man <\/em>(1976) et <em>Ces gar\u00e7ons qui venaient du Br\u00e9sil<\/em> (1978).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Le film de Neame, adapt\u00e9 du roman homonyme de Frederick Forsyth paru en 1972, s\u2019inspire de faits r\u00e9els et de personnages historiques. Le sigle Odessa d\u00e9signe l\u2019organisation des anciens membres de la SS. Si cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 secr\u00e8te est une invention de l\u2019auteur, elle recoupe le ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne bien r\u00e9el des fili\u00e8res d&rsquo;exfiltration de criminels nazis apr\u00e8s 1945 vers le Moyen-Orient ou l\u2019Am\u00e9rique latine.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre chasseur de nazis Simon Wiesenthal est interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par un acteur dans deux sc\u00e8nes du <em>Dossier Odessa<\/em>. Il est \u00e9galement cr\u00e9dit\u00e9 au g\u00e9n\u00e9rique comme conseiller documentaire. Quant \u00e0 l\u2019officier SS Eduard Roschmann, jou\u00e9 par Maximilian Schell, il a r\u00e9ellement exist\u00e9 et \u00e9tait surnomm\u00e9 le boucher de Riga, responsable de l\u2019assassinat de milliers de Juifs. Ces cautions historiques, et certaines inscriptions temporelles \u2013 le film d\u00e9bute par l\u2019annonce \u00e0 la radio de la mort de John F. Kennedy le 22 novembre 1963, et contient des flash-backs en noir et blanc situ\u00e9s pendant la guerre &#8211; donnent au <em>Dossier Odessa<\/em> un certain cachet r\u00e9aliste dilu\u00e9 dans une intrigue aux multiples rebondissements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cette prise de conscience tardive par un jeune journaliste cynique de l\u2019horreur nazie appara\u00eet d&rsquo;abord comme na\u00efve \u2013 nous sommes en 1963 &#8211; avant d\u2019\u00eatre temp\u00e9r\u00e9e par un coup de th\u00e9\u00e2tre final. R\u00e9cit d\u2019une traque et d\u2019une vengeance au d\u00e9nouement impr\u00e9visible, <em>Le Dossier Odessa<\/em> explore les zones d\u2019ombre de la R\u00e9publique f\u00e9d\u00e9rale d\u2019Allemagne. Derri\u00e8re les succ\u00e8s \u00e9conomiques et diplomatiques du chancelier Adenauer, survivent les inqui\u00e9tants nostalgiques du nazisme, dissimul\u00e9s sous de fausses identit\u00e9s. Le film reproduit bien l\u2019ambiance de la RFA en plein boom mais frapp\u00e9e d&rsquo;amn\u00e9sie collective.
