La 69\u00e8me \u00e9dition ne d\u00e9roge pas \u00e0 cette r\u00e8gle avec au moins deux films riches en \u00e9motions fortes. Le premi\u00e8re par ordre de projection n\u2019est rien d\u2019autre qu\u2019une r\u00e9ponse cor\u00e9enne \u00e0 la mode des films \u00ab\u00a0d\u2019infect\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb, avatars postmodernes des films de zombies invent\u00e9s par George A. Romero en 1968 (<em>La Nuit des morts-vivants<\/em>) et d\u00e9clin\u00e9s depuis sous toutes les formes inimaginables. En 2002 le pourtant peu inspir\u00e9 \u2013 il a d\u2019ailleurs tout pomp\u00e9 <em>sur<\/em> une s\u00e9rie B italienne des ann\u00e9es 80, <em>D\u00e9mons<\/em> &#8211; Danny Boyle a revivifi\u00e9 avec <em>28 Jours plus tard<\/em> le sous-genre zombiesque avec la figure de l\u2019infect\u00e9 mont\u00e9 sur ressort et galopant comme un d\u00e9rat\u00e9, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en horde, pour grignoter ses victimes avec moult grognement, \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence des macchab\u00e9s l\u00e9thargiques auxquels nous avaient habitu\u00e9s Romero, Fulci et compagnie. Formule survolt\u00e9e que reprendra Zack Snyder dans <em>L\u2019Aube des morts<\/em>. L\u2019infect\u00e9 est beaucoup plus dangereux que le zombie \u00e0 l\u2019ancienne car il court vite et vous contamine en quelques minutes. Avant que les choses s\u00e9rieuses ne commencent la pr\u00e9sentation du groupe de passagers comprenant des caract\u00e8res bien typ\u00e9s \u2013 deux vieilles dames, un grand patron irascible, une \u00e9quipe de base-ball, un clochard nous renvoie au bon souvenir de la s\u00e9rie <em>Airport<\/em> ou de tout autre film catastrophe des ann\u00e9es 70 se d\u00e9roulant dans un moyen de transport \u2013 <em>Le Pont de Cassandra<\/em> par exemple, avec son train \u2013 d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u2013 transportant le virus de la peste. La suite rel\u00e8ve de l\u2019action non stop, avec l\u2019\u00e9limination progressive des passagers et la lutte pour la survie d\u2019un petit groupe de rescap\u00e9s, r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s dans un wagon puis dans un autre train. Le cin\u00e9aste conna\u00eet ses classiques et r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 nous surprendre malgr\u00e9 les nombreuses citations d\u2019autres films, de <em>Runaway Train<\/em> \u00e0 <em>World War Z<\/em>. <em>Train to Busan <\/em>permet de savourer la diff\u00e9rence entre un blockbuster cor\u00e9en et un blockbuster hollywoodien. Le pays du matin calme sait confectionner des superproductions qui sauvent leur \u00e2me, conservent les qualit\u00e9s dynamiques des s\u00e9ries B, avec des acteurs formidables et une attention constante aux personnages, sans parler des annotations sociopolitiques qui mettent souvent ces films en prise directe avec la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du pays. C\u2019est le cas de <em>Train to Busan<\/em>, dont le h\u00e9ros est un \u00ab\u00a0trader\u00a0\u00bb qui n\u00e9glige sa fille \u00e0 cause de son travail et va enfin pouvoir lui exprimer son amour dans des conditions dramatiques.<\/p>\n<p>Avant <em>Train to Busan<\/em> Yeon Sang-ho \u00e9tait connu pour avoir r\u00e9alis\u00e9 plusieurs longs m\u00e9trages d\u2019animation pour adultes \u00e0 caract\u00e8re social et satirique. Son passage au cin\u00e9ma traditionnel porte la marque de sa formation d\u2019animateur.
