Au point que Sylvester Stallone a occult\u00e9 la responsabilit\u00e9 de Ted Kotcheff dans la r\u00e9ussite du film, qui donna naissance \u00e0 une nouvelle ic\u00f4ne de la culture populaire, et \u00e0 un second double cin\u00e9matographique pour Stallone apr\u00e8s le boxeur Rocky Balboa.<\/p>\n<p>Tamasa Distribution a ressorti <em>Rambo<\/em> (<em>First Blood<\/em>, 1982) en salles le mercredi 15 juillet. Le 2 mars 1983 nous \u00e9tions au cin\u00e9ma pour d\u00e9couvrir \u00e9poustoufl\u00e9 ce qui allait devenir le titre programmatique de tout le cin\u00e9ma d\u2019action des ann\u00e9es 80. Soit un h\u00e9ros solitaire et bodybuild\u00e9, martyris\u00e9 mais invincible, confront\u00e9 \u00e0 une s\u00e9rie d\u2019\u00e9preuves et des ennemis de plus en plus nombreux dans un environnement hostile ; Des sc\u00e8nes de destruction spectaculaires et une inflation pyrotechnique au fur et \u00e0 mesure que le film avance. Matrice des futurs films de John McTiernan et consorts <em>Rambo<\/em> a encore un pied dans les ann\u00e9es 70, mettant en sc\u00e8ne un marginal d\u00e9class\u00e9 en butte \u00e0 la b\u00eatise et aux pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s du sh\u00e9rif d\u2019un petit bled, victime de violences polici\u00e8res. Le sc\u00e9nario initial envisageait la mort de Rambo \u00e0 la fin du film, avant que Stallone n\u2019imagine une autre destin\u00e9e pour son personnage. John J. Rambo est un v\u00e9t\u00e9ran du Vietnam, ancien b\u00e9ret vert d\u00e9cor\u00e9 pour actes de bravoures et v\u00e9ritable machine \u00e0 tuer incapable de se r\u00e9ins\u00e9rer dans la vie civile. Son arrestation muscl\u00e9e r\u00e9veille le souvenir traumatique des tortures Vi\u00eat-Cong \u2013 visualis\u00e9s lors de brefs flashbacks, r\u00e9miniscences de <em>Rolling Thunder<\/em> de John Flynn). Une chasse \u00e0 l\u2019homme s\u2019engage dans la for\u00eat, au cours de laquelle Rambo, de gibier d\u00e9sarm\u00e9 et terrifi\u00e9 va bient\u00f4t se transformer en pr\u00e9dateur d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 reconqu\u00e9rir son honneur perdu.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16476\" style=\"width: 1210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16476\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16476\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/rambo.jpg\" alt=\"Sylvester Stallone dans Rambo\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/rambo.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/rambo-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/rambo-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/rambo-580x387.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16476\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sylvester Stallone dans Rambo<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Rambo antih\u00e9ros path\u00e9tique du film de Ted Kotcheff devint par la suite le symbole reaganien de la fiert\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9e des Etats-Unis apr\u00e8s la d\u00e9faite au Vietnam dans une s\u00e9rie de films patriotiques, v\u00e9hicules du narcissisme d\u00e9lirant de leur star, o\u00f9 Stallone m\u00e9tamorphos\u00e9 en surhomme extermine \u00e0 lui tout seul des bataillons de soldats nord vietnamiens et sovi\u00e9tiques. Cette esth\u00e9tique de bande dessin\u00e9e cocardi\u00e8re est absente du premier <em>Rambo<\/em>, qui opte au contraire pour une approche tellurique et sombre, avec l\u2019\u00e9nergie brute et sans fioriture d\u2019une s\u00e9rie B. Les techniques de survie puis celles de gu\u00e9rilla appliqu\u00e9es par Rambo, transposition dans l\u2019Am\u00e9rique rurale de ce qu\u2019il a appris au Vietnam font du film de Ted Kotcheff un des meilleurs \u00ab\u00a0survivals\u00a0\u00bb jamais r\u00e9alis\u00e9s, avec <em>Apocalypto<\/em> de Mel Gibson.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16477\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/first-blood-lobby-card-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1344\" height=\"1064\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/first-blood-lobby-card-1.jpg 1344w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/first-blood-lobby-card-1-354x280.jpg 354w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/first-blood-lobby-card-1-970x768.jpg 970w, https:\/\/www.arte.tv\/sites\/olivierpere\/files\/first-blood-lobby-card-1-580x459.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1344px) 100vw, 1344px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Stallone \u00e9tait loin d\u2019\u00eatre le premier choix des producteurs pour interpr\u00e9ter Rambo mais il s\u2019est empar\u00e9 du r\u00f4le avec beaucoup de conviction, le rendant inoubliable. On peut regretter que Kirk Douglas n\u2019ait pu tenir le r\u00f4le du Colonel Trautman, figure prom\u00e9th\u00e9enne un peu verbeuse. Douglas quitta pr\u00e9cipitamment le tournage, remplac\u00e9 au pied lev\u00e9 par Richard Crenna, \u00e0 cause des r\u00e9\u00e9critures du personnage impos\u00e9es par Stallone \u2013 les sc\u00e8nes dialogu\u00e9es avec Trautman venu chercher son soldat d\u2019\u00e9lite sont d\u2019ailleurs les passages les plus faibles du film, qui annoncent le manich\u00e9isme caricatural des titres suivants de la s\u00e9rie.<\/p>\n<p>Qu\u2019importe.
