Multilingual Management Officer (m/f)

ARTE continues to roll out its European development strategy and now offers a range of programmes adapted in 6 languages on all its digital platforms (website, mobile apps, tablets and Smart TVs, social media). This offer is available throughout Europe and has been made possible thanks to European co-financing. It covers a selection of documentaries, magazine programmes, films and TV series, as well as a weekly news programme and short formats specifically designed for social networks.

In this context, ARTE is looking for a multilingual management officer to manage the operational aspects of various localisation projects (subtitling, voice-over, embedding, DHH, etc.) for a selection of programmes.

Your tasks

  • Prepare and send multilingual orders to external service providers.
  • Receive and enter incoming material.
  • Monitor deliveries, approvals and complaints.
  • Manage the delivery schedule in conjunction with the tender coordinators.
  • Manage monthly invoicing, monitor the allocated budget and set up suppliers where necessary.
  • Take part in technical discussions and help to adapt work processes, standards and tools.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, ideally in the audiovisual field.
  • Fluency in French, German and English. An additional European language would be a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the VOD platform ecosystem and the various audiovisual players.
  • Experience in managing translation/localisation projects.


ARTE in Strasbourg offers you:

A full-time 18-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible, within the European Development Department and the Multilingual Postproduction Sector.
