The program schedule gets a major facelift. There are three main targets: more forward looking programs such as, “Sciences”, that present the latest findings from the natural world; further in-depth coverage of European issues with the magazine, Visages d’Europe, that portrays the ordinary yet remarkable men and women that make up Europe’s diverse cultural identity; and ZOOM Europa, a program that takes a closer look at what’s happening in member states of the European Union. Cultural coverage gave a further boost with the early evening magazine, Metropolis, and Trash, a series dedicated to screening cult B-movies for their many enthusiasts.
