As part of its European development strategy and thanks to a European co-financing, ARTE is rolling out its digital offer across Europe and forging new partnerships. To accompany this European drive, ARTE seeks to recruit an in-house legal counsel.
Your duties
- Provide legal advice on opportunities to roll out ARTE’s digital offer across Europe beyond France and Germany.
- Provide a legal framework for negotiations with European partners and operators and draw up the contracts.
- Monitor legislative developments in Europe in the fields of media and intellectual property.
Your strengths
- When dealing with new situations, you come up with innovative solutions.
- You are committed and able to work independently. You take the initiative.
- You communicate perfectly, both orally and in writing; your legal briefing notes are accurate and concise.
- You have a team spirit and are able to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Your profile
- Master 2 in Law with a specialisation in Intellectual Property Law.
- Professional experience in the audiovisual sector, for example with a media company or an operator, preferably in a European or international context.
- Fluency in French, German and English; an additional language would be a plus.
