Change at the top of ARTE: Heike Hempel becomes president

In accordance with ARTE’s principle of alternating between the German and French sides, Heike Hempel becomes president of the broadcaster for a four-year term starting on 1 January 2025. Bruno Patino, who served as president of ARTE from 2021 to 2024, will become vice-president. He remains president of ARTE France.
