Audience & Business Developer (m/f/d)

ARTE in 6 languages

ARTE continues to forge ahead with its European development strategy, and is now looking to strengthen the distribution arrangements for its digital offerings throughout Europe. ARTE’s offer in 6 languages (English, Spanish, Polish and Italian, in addition to French and German) is available throughout Europe on all the channel’s digital platforms, and has been made possible thanks to European co-financing.

Your duties

  • Identify growth drivers in target markets for ARTE’s digital offerings in English, Spanish, Polish and Italian and carry out feasibility studies with the various stakeholder teams within ARTE.
  • Accompany and set up new partnerships in strategic European countries.
  • Identify digital platforms with strong potential for these offers, and negotiate and set up takeovers with the operators.
  • Conduct market research and provide competitive and sector intelligence on targeted markets.
  • Contribute to reporting exercises on these activities.

Your strengths

  • You are passionate about digital and alive to editorial issues.
  • Being both proactive and creative, you are quick to come forward with suggestions.
  • You fit in seamlessly as part of a multicultural team.
  • You have a good general knowledge background.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree, ideally in the field of business development, marketing or the audiovisual sector.
  • Professional experience of the roll-out and distribution of digital offers.
  • Fluency in English. Additional languages would be a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of the VOD platform ecosystem and, more generally, of the European audiovisual landscape.

 

ARTE in Strasbourg offers you:

A full-time fixed term contract within the European Development Department, to be filled as soon as possible and expiring in December 2023.
