Universal Basic Income: Germany reports positive feedback

Should we introduce a universal basic income? Is it a step toward progress and equality—or an incentive for dependency? To fuel the debate, Germany launched a three-year experiment in which around a hundred participants received €1,200 per month, unconditionally. The goal: to assess the impact of guaranteed income on work, health, and psychological well-being. The results were strikingly positive.
