At a time where law has become an abstract concept in Hungary, one church in particular is being targeted by Orban’s government. The Hungarian Evangelical Fellowship has gradually seen its subsidies shrink and is now the subject of a tax investigation. The organisation supports around 20,000 homeless people and relies on private donations to survive.
