British composer Benjamin Britten was always a staunch pacifist. Deeply affected by the horrors of the Second World War, he wanted to pay tribute to its heroes with his composition War Requiem. Around sixty years after its premiere, this oratorio resonates in the old Royal Palace of Prague Castle as a call for an end to Russia's war against Ukraine.
